I am a fan of architecture (digital and physical), a guitarist and audiophile, an avid traveler, a former skateboarder, an occasional snowboarder, in addition to many other things. Whether I'm considering function and structure or practicing and honing my skills all of these interests have had an influence in how I view the world and approach my work.
To me User Experience should empower the user to intuitively accomplish an end result while taking into account a person's intentions. This should create an enjoyable experience that does not become frustrating. It should encompass the organization and presentation of information along with the functionality of the product. A good user experience removes confusion and allows the user to accomplish their goal with a minimal amount of effort.
I am a methodical problem solver with an interest in why people do the things they do. By leveraging insight, the anticipation of certain behavior, and expectations I intend to provide clarity through design.
